A highly recommended motel in Townsville, a few walks away from a couple of food outlets (Subway, Dominos, Noodle House, Macdonalds, Tom's Tavern & Liquor Store) and a Night Owl Convenience store run by a very friendly business owner (open from 6am till 12am). A larger shopping centre, Stocklands, is within walking distance. There is a bus stop in front...

Thank you for the wonderful review. We concentrate on personal service and cleanliness which is extremely important. We have many distressed guests staying with us as we are close to the hospital so if we are able to provide a home away from home then that is what we are about. Equally we have many gracious and lovely guests as...

This was a nice hotel, but we were disappointed with the service. There was never anyone in the office, just a buzzer that you felt guilty for pressing .. So we didn't . The sheets in the room were a bit dusty, but the room itself was clean. The bathroom was modern and the beds were very comfortable. A short...

Thank you for taking the time to review. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service. We are more than willing to help at any time, even after hours and we are called out often during the nights. I am sure you can appreciate there are many things to do at a motel. Clean the pool, trim...

My room was incredibly noisy as Nathan st. has traffic all night, often heavy vehicles. Breakfast has to be obtained from elsewhere or asking to purchase bare essentials from a cabinet in the entrance area.

Thanks for your review, we are sorry you found the traffic noisy as it normally abates early in the evening. Unfortunately you booked a budget room which fronts the street and quieter rooms are available. Where possible we will offer upgrades. Continental breakfasts are available at the motel in addition to purchasing additional food and snacks from the office. All...

Excellent location right next to major shopping centre, easily accessible transport. Renovated clean, tidy. Make sure to email them for after hour check in or check out beyond 7:30am-8pm. Didn't notice they left the window wide open and no insect screen... but otherwise not major issue. Very comfortable stay so thank you.

This motel is small but comfortable. The check in was fast and easy. There is no restaurant but there are plenty of cafes and fast food outlets within a 10min walk. The motel is in close proximity to the university and hospital.

I chose this motel as it was close (8 minute drive) to the free shuttle bus to the NQ Cowboys. The room was perfect for a family of four, we were on the ground level so we could sit outside our room for a quiet nightcap when the kids went to bed. The room had a strong cleaning/deodorant smell but...

Hi Leashy, Thank you for your review. I remember that night of your stay with all the huge 4wd vehicles staying. No one reported the broken light incident so I assume a guests backed into some one else's tow bar and accepted the fault and drove off. Sometimes the cleaners do need to use extra deodorant in rooms dependent on...

Handy location walking distance to Shopping centre. Short distance to Uni and Hospital. Friendly Motel. Good value for money. Visited this motel a few times and always had trouble getting my internet connection to work in room. I was pleased to have no problem with internet during my last stay (January 2016).

This motel was very easy to find. On our trip up to Port Douglas we were given, as a couple, a very large room at no extra cost. This came in handy for all our junk.
