Good venue with lots of secluded areas to sit with friends or by yourself. Meals were very nice and the seafood was fantastic. A pity it rained the first day but still lots of covered areas to be under.

Facilities of Kingfisher Bay are now very dated The Maheno was absolutely awful - cheap old cutlery and the service was not up to standard , I took our Germsn friends over and although Fraser Island and Lake McKenzie was stunning, I was quite embarrassed by the quality of the resort ( considering the cost for the stay overall!)

Tours are what they want you to do at Kingfisher. If you are not into tours you can do your own bush walks. We did this but were not told that some of the paths were closed and had to turn around and come back. Very little to do really - no need to stay any more than 2 or...

Dear Wendy C Offering the opportunity to discover and explore the unique natural beauty of the island, we certainly encourage guests to book a tour however do acknowledge they may not be everyone’s “cup of tea”. For those that would prefer to make their own tracks, 4WD hire is available from the resort or guests can opt to bring their...

Lovely location on a lovely island. Room price was on the high side but probably standard for a resort island. Attention to detail when bookings are made should be improved. It was our first trip to Fraser as we generally do Moreton and Stradbroke and all in all was a lovely place and venue for the Christensen wedding and they...
