OK, it was originally a Travelodge which was in need of attention. To Sage's credit they have started to make improvements. The rooms are good but the balconies are disgusting, covered with pigeons excrement. If you leave your doors open, they will enter. Hand basins take forever to drain, but the bathrooms are fine. We booked this hotel off a net booking site and the description and photos of room were spot on reception was quick and friendly room was great pool also close to CBD and tram to glenelg food ws good we had room service and was reasonably priced and quick all in all great place to stay

we have stayed there on and off for work for a number of years. Whilst work is continuing the rooms have been renovated , are comfortable and small things like a coffee pod machine in the room are nice. Showers hot, toiletaries good quality, bed comfortable. Overall our experience here was good. The rooms were basic but comfortable and reasonably well appointed. However our room was not cleaned daily to a good standard and the bed not made up to hotel standard on one occasion. We stayed at the sage in an adjoining room with my brother and friend the rooms were comfortable and clean with a shower over bath and balcony they advertise a swimming pool but you share with the motel next door the staff were friendly and the breakfast for $19 was excellent would recommend as a cheaper stay close to tram... This hotel is undergoing renovation at the street level. However we found it clean and quiet being opposite the southern parklands. Great friendly service at reception. Good for a quick weekend with location good to southern end of cbd but without a hefty price tag.

Have stayed here several times and it's a good location Rooms are average but the lighting in room and particularly bathroom is terrible. Staff are very good and happy to help Good average price hotel. Room service breakfast was good but a bit expensive
