Considering this is in the middle of a very harsh environment the standard is good. Lovely expected welcome from staff who make the stay as comfy as possible. Lovely airy restaurant attached to nearby cabins. Watch out for critters and keep door to cabin closed as much as possible. Second visit here Well done to the staff.

My father and I stayed here in April 2016 he been 86 just loved the place as I did. We would have liked to have stayed longer. I don't know what people expect our room was more then comfy and clean. Yes there was scale from bore water that's what happens. We had a burger for tea it was yummy...

Last night of our 2 week family holiday, just driven 9 hours, stopped in at Glendambo to see if they had a room for 4. No problem at all room was clean and fresh, went to bar for a nice cold drink, met the couple who was managing the place. They made our family feel so welcome, they even sat...

Camped last night in an unpowered site. Went to the pub for dinner and was very impressed with the quality and price of the food. The food being better than a lot of big city pubs. We will be back next time we are passing through!

This is far from being an "exotic oasis", but places like this in outback Australia need to be supported! The caravan park is open and spacious; ablution blocks need lots of attention (which seems to have been started) to match the great hot water! The pub needs a spruce up to match the great pub food (cooked by the receptionist,...

Hi and thanks for your review, yes my receptionist is a little gem who is also a great cook and does a fantastic job when I am away! We are working on the job of upgrading our facilities which is a work in progress and takes time given our resources and location, but we are getting there, so thanks for...

We pulled into Glendambo, our site was good and quite level, it had enough room between sites. The generator was no problem. We went to the hotel for a drink with a couple we met there, it was very enjoyable and on the whole is just fine for a stopover

Been here with a family of four, quiet spot, good staff and food in the restaurant. Ok for an overnight stay. The rooms are quite basic in the motel section. Facilities need a facelift, becoming run down and looking tired.

While returning to Adelaide from Alice Springs if you want to get away from the busyness of Coober Pedy, especially during peak tourist season I recommend staying here. Very basic rooms similar to the Opal Inn in Coober Pedy the only difference is Glendambo hasn't got TV's in their motel rooms but Telstra mobile coverage is great here if you...

After reading the reviews I wasn't expecting much and we didn't get much. Our room had dirty carpets and grubby tiles but it was better than camping out in the cold and wet. The room had a good heater and electric blanket which was nice. The restaurant however was freezing and understand it would be difficult to warm such a...

My Sister & I made an unplanned stop after having a slight problem with our car. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Glendambo. So much so that we also stayed on our return visit. It is an outback experience so you will pay for it. You will also need to remember that they rely on bore water so you can...
