Awesome place! Very clean spacey cottages, especially for a couple. The owners sent us a detailed road description and were very helpful during our stay. Everything you need can be find in the house though we recommend you spend as much time as possible outside gazing at the amazing view and its cute animals!

on arrival heating and tv was on ready for us as well as some local foods and a note about the cottages and surroundings. dont go there if you want nightlife as the only nightlife are kangaroos and possums and stars. be self sufficient as main shops are at Kingscote 60km away. so relaxing sitting on the bench overlooking the...

This is a paradise. The best place to stay in kangaroo island (and one of the most amazing place we've ever seen). Trust me and all the other who left a comment here: do not go in kingscote (nothing special) or anywhere else..Come here and this place will remain in you heart forever! If you don't, just drive to this...

First thing to say is that we did not do our homework very well. Kangaroo Island is much bigger than we had realised. So it was a bit of a surprise when we discovered that Waves and Wildlife Cottages was about 100km from the Penneshaw ferry terminal where we arrived on the island. That however should not be a deterrent...

Waves and Wildlife is definitely off the beaten path, and it takes some extra time to get to most of the island's attractions, but oh, is it worth it!! We arrived with our 2 young boys and were greeted by at least 2 dozen kangaroos.....and on the inside, greeted by nice touches of hospitality----chocolates, bottle of wine, Kangaroo Island HONEY...

Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2016 with my wife. It is a remote location, but it provides you with a great view & Kangaroos every night. Cottages have all facilities that you need and look very nice. Nearby is a restaurant. We loved our stay here and will definitely stay here again for our next visit. Very friendly...

We went to KI for a great wildlife experience, and some of the most authentic experiences were on the hotel grounds right outside our door. We spent a full day on the hotel grounds instead of driving elsewhere; wild kangaroos, wedge tail eagles, possums, tammar wallabies, glossy black cockatoo's and koalas chilling out onsite. Can't beat the accommodation - cabins...

This is such a great place to be if you want to relax and experience a closer relation with nature. During the dusk is very commom to see kangaroos around and I even saw a koala while walking around. They have very confortable cottages, with tv, a complete kitchen and hearter (very important during autumn/winter). A hint, bring food with...
