Stayed for several nights in Jan 2016. Booked 2 adults & 1 kid , requested an extra sofa bed. The extra sofa bed didn't show up. Doesn't matter, still manage to sleep on the sofa comfortably. I understood that special request was not always guaranteed and therefore I did not ring them up. To my surprise, Paul & his wife...

When I started researching where to stay on KI I had no idea. We chose Stokes Bay and loved it as it was quiet and peaceful and suited the island lifestyle. When we arrived at Waves and Wildlife we loved it straight away. The cottages are gorgeous and have a spectacular outlook over Stokes Bay. It was so nice sitting...

We spent 6 days on KI, we drove along the coasts and saw many places to stay, many in front of beautiful beaches. However, I was so glad I had chosen to stay at Waves & Wildlife as it was definitely the best place to stay to relax and watch the unique KI kangaroos and wallabies. The cottages are perfect,...

We didn't actually stay here, but visited friends that did! The place we stayed was quite lovely, but I highly recommend folks that want to see wild kangaroos from your cabin to stay at Waves and Wildlife! We saw about 70-100 kangaroos grazing for almost an hour just right from the cabin patio. The view from the patio to the...

Had a great stay here at the Cottages! Wildlife (mainly Kangaroos) at your front door. Koalas within walking distance. Great beach within walking distance...and far from the maddening crowd! Good clean, basic, comfortable cottages. Could spend a week on the balconies here. Would return in a flash!

Wow! - What a view! What a wonderful place. The only thing we could hear was the ocean, the Kangaroos, the Parrots and the Magpie's. The cabins had all we needed and the terrace was just wonderful to enjoy a meal, while watching the wildlife and the ocean. There were Kangaroos and wallabies everywhere and they were very freindly. Paul...

This is the second time we have stayed here and we will never stay anywhere else on KI. This is not luxury accommodation but the surroundings and the views are certainly five star. The cottages are just what you need for a KI getaway, everything you need to relax, prepare meals etc. These are true holiday cottages, or batches if...

I have nothing but good words for our cottage, it was amazingly well kept and we had everything we needed for our 5 day stay over Christmas. The views were surreal, stunning doesn't even describe the beauty. The wildlife that surrounded was amazing and really added to the authenticity of this place. The most beautiful beach hidden amongst the rocks...
