We saw quolls, Tasmanian devils, platypus and more. The Leven river is currently warm enough to swim in (due to low water levels). This was a really fun experience. You...

We stayed...

Everything about Mountain Valley is just right - cabins have a welcoming, homey feel with every detail thoughtfully covered. Full kitchen facilities, comfy beds, great fireplace and plenty of wood, heated beds, in-room breakfast supplied and dinners too if booked in advance, with very tasty offerings. Scotch fillet one night, lamb chops the next, with lovely salads, veg and desserts...

The cabin was clean but basic, equipped with a kitchen, and did include some basic food, enough for breakfast, a small amount of milk. Best to bring your own food though if you want a choice. The owners Len & Pat were very accommodating and friendly. Len...
