Nice view out if the window, but hidden away in a rabbit warren. Rooms are very dated and need a refurb. An amazing trip to the swimming pool, up lifts down another down stairs only to find a dissapointment. The pool must be the most uninviting pool I have seen in a hotel. Wrest point id a great location but...

The room was more than adequate, spacey and clean, but the view was another plus, with a lovely sight across the Derwent River. The other facilities at Wrest Point were great for the Convention, everything all in one place, Convention centre, plenty of first class restaurants from budget to a-la-carte. The staff are very courteous and professional and happy to...

We came after the Salamanca markets for coffee and cake. We came to Pier 1 restaurant. The desserts cost $14 and are a bit small but pretty. Tea service was very nice 👌🏼☕️ I'd come back but only as the occasional treat.

Won't be back. Tired and past it's used by date. Needs a complete refit. Disappointed overall and did not meet my expectations. Would advise others to stay clear. Room was clean and that was the only thing positive to say about the whole experience.

The hotel was conveniently located in the city with great views over the water. Check-in was easy and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. There was complimentary on-site parking and w fi, which we really appreciated. We had a Wateredge room which had a lovely view and was very clean with all the amenities you could need for a...

Heading to Wrest Point, I didn't have high expectations. First casino in Australia, old building, lots of 'tired' words in TripAdvisor reviews. And yet, I really quite liked it! The old concrete tower block which houses the hotel is dated, but still appeals in an odd way. Reception is manned by friendly staff in pleasant is not spectacular surroundings -...

We managed to get only six days out of eight days...

We ordered Squid as an Entree. It came with 4 sallad leaves, a mini dish of about 3 tiny squids and 2 cut up pieces of squids, which were really chewy, in a fatty sauce and another fatty chili dip and nothing else. That dish was over $15 and not worth the price.

Hotel a bit tired. We ate in The Loft Restuarant which was average. Our room had magnificent views overlooking the bay. We were on the 12th floor. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy parking and easy to find way from airport in our hire car.
