Nicely located in business and court districts and hidden in side street so little noise, rooms size of an apartment with kitchenette if you prefer less a hotel and more the serviced apartment feel. Breakfast etc okay but coffee could be improved

Great hotel, staff were very helpful. Parking service is easy and great central location. We got a good deal through Wotif so was very affordable. Offered breakfast and dinner vouchers on arrival but didn't get a chance to use them as we left very early

I stay in Melbourne a few times a year for business. Loved everything about this hotel and will definitely be back. Breakfast was great and rooms soooo much better than other places I have stayed. Absolute value for money. Best hotel pillows yet.

I was given a disabled room which I didn't request or need & there was construction noise during the day which I wasn't advised about. Buffet beeakfast was pretty much cold by the time I got down to breakfast. On the plus side rooms are big & handy location to CBD & Southern Cross Station.

As most have mentioned, rooms are very spacious and clean, if not a bit tired. The staff were the point of difference, all very friendly, helpful and professional. Would recommend based on our experience with the staff alone. Expensive wifi. With so many great restaurants and cafes nearby we didn't eat in. We did visit the bar and again staff...

The first night I was near the power room so extremely noisy (that's why is a 1). The staff was very good next day and they change my room (I gave them 5). So the average is 3. Happy with the overall service.

Very friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The Hotel is in a great location - close to shopping and restaurants. The room was very spacious, very quiet - with no street noise or noise heard from other rooms, clean and perfect for our stay.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
