We booked a one bedroom apartment and checked in on Dec 31 and stayed until Jan 4. Great location. Close to casino, convention centre, and lots of sights. Free tram shuttle stops right outside the building. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was unexpectantly closed during our stay, but was not really an issue for us. Would stay here...

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. We noticed just prior to arriving that the hotel is under renovation. This did not bode well as I would not choose to stay anywhere that was being renovated as it indicates that it is in need of work. I therefore made contact and asked if we could stay in a...

Clean and tidy hotel. Parking was easy. Provided high chair, cot and toy box for my toddler which was helpful. Stayed at Christmas and they left chocolates in the room. Good hotel, housekeeping was a bit hit and miss, forgot to replace towels multiple times, didn't know about late check out, but were also great and cleaned the kitchen on...

Excellent room and brilliant location. Very disappointed and surprised that the pool, gym and sauna were unavailable due to renovations. This was not stated on the website when booking or on the day before we arrived. It is the main criteria my son wants at an hotel.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. What website did you book through? We had advertised that the pool, gym & Sauna were closed so I would like to investigate how that particular website was missed. Thanks for your feedback on the room and location, they certainly are great! Hope to see you back at Adina Queen St again on your next...

There are good days and there are bad days during my stay in Adina Queen Street. I arrived with my boyfriend and his family on Christmas Day. We have pre-booked an apartment with 3 bedrooms before we arrived in Melbourne. Upon arrival, we were told that the unit that we have booked before is currently under renovation. But no worries,...

Hi Carissa, Thanks for your feedback. I believe my management team has been in touch with your booker in regards to some compensation. I apologise about the air conditioning issues that you faced during out heat wave. We do our best to keep all units operating but sometimes issues that we cannot control appear and we have to investigate other...

Have stayed at other Adina Hotels and this one was very similar. They are usually well located, clean and modern, reasonable rates, but really lack and warmth and character. We booked a Premier One Bedroom apartment and it was good for our 5 night stay. Enough room, recently renovated, clean and tidy. Good location for city shopping or business, reasonable...

Hi Mick, Thanks for your feedback. We tend to think we do offer warmth and character but it seems that is something we need to work a bit harder on. Glad you enjoyed our fantastic location and value. Nathan Copsey General Manager

Overall this was a good hotel, although I wouldn't want to pay more than the $130 I paid through booking.com. Central location, helpful staff, easy parking (although did cost $21). The shower was very mouldy which was not good at all.

Hi Jaymie, Thanks for your feedback. We understand selected rooms have a mould issue in the shower. We have a program running at the moment to fix this. As we are also undergoing a full refurbishment with the entire bathroom being remodelled we are very close to a permanent fix. Pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and our helpful...

We were booked into the Adina as part of our package whilst travelling from Sydney to Adelaide. From the moment we stepped into reception it was 'do you want this for a cost, do you want that for a cost'. We did upgrade our room to get a good view of the New Years Eve fireworks. However, our room key...

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. We tend not to heat the pool during summer as it gets quite warm behind the glass with sunlight on it all day. Did you report the lock to our reception team? This was our last stop on a long holiday around Australia. We booked a One Bedroom Premier Apartment. This was very spacious with a separate lounge / kitchen diner and bedroom and a small balcony. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
