We had stayed at this B & B 3 years ago and thought it was good, so we thought we stay there again. It has changed hands during that time and has gone down hill rapidilly. when we stayed last time it had a rating around 8.5 this time it was 6.9 We stayed in room 7, the Curtains were...

From the outside it looked like a lovely old building. Upon entering we were extremely disappointed in our choice of hotel. Interior was poorly maintained and the ceiling/walls showed signs of distress. We had booked a 'family room' and when we arrived at the room it was the size of our master room at home and they had squeezed x2...

We booked this as we had left things to the last minute and it seemed like a good option for the price and location. There are definitely some good features of this B&B. The location is nice as it is a pleasant walk into town, and close to a tram stop. There are also some bars, restaurants and cafes close...

We have not long arrived and I must say I am sorry to have booked here. The parking out back that was promised very nearly did not happen. The room has an overwhelming smell of mustiness. The furniture is coated with ingrained dust. There is a crack in the ceiling. Cobwebs in corners. The switch for the ensuite is hanging...

After having to book here because there was no other accommodation in the city at a reasonable price I was a bit wary because of all the bad reviews. I found this b&b to be totally fine for the money I was paying. It was clean and spacious enough for an overnighter with an ensuite room. The location is perfect...

This B&B is almost directly opposite Fitzroy Garden, so the 30 minute morning walk to the city is pleasant on a sunny day. It's also about half an hour's stroll to the royal botanical gardens. 5 minutes from west Richmond subway station. Nice corner cafe 65 and Italian restaurant (gg) nearby. Note that there's another George st. Our taxi dropped...

The B&B, oversells itself in its photos and brochure, as modern, upgraded, furnished with antiques and providing a sumptuous breakfast......nothing could be further from the truth. There is one good thing I can say about the property, its location. But, location is not enough---the rooms, bathrooms, public spaces and exterior need, no they are desperate for work and in need...

It was probably quite luxurious in the past. I could see that it was set up well, but now it is rather run down and grimy. I also found the reception staff difficult to communicate with as English was not their first language. I was keen to leave after my 3-day stay.

Friend from WA staying in the city so we all caught up for eats & drinks. We booked to stay here due to location and no charge for parking. Presently surprised a full breaky was included. This venue apparently has been taken over by Chinese. Location is great but this old girl needs alot of attention...clock in dining room stopped....

I don't see why other travellers haven't liked this place - it's super cute, there's free unlimited wifi and breakfast and it's all incredibly well priced. I've stayed at places in Melbourne CBD for $500 and they haven't compared to the value and charm of the inn. There's culinary delights just around the corner. My room was super clean and...
