Having a washer dryer was fantastic for a 5 night stay and the bathroom is very spacious but the only down side was a bed that sagged in the middle whch we didn't experience last time...

We stayed in the Mantra for one night due to attending a 60th birthday around the corner. We had room 308 which is classed as a city view and that it did. Situated very close to Little Collins St you could see the intersection from your room. The room was a fair size with a very comfy queen size bed...

The apartment was in a good location & spacious however the bathroom was very small & the shower over the bath too dangerous for my elderly parent. They would have to step down onto slippery tiles which got wet when the shower was in use due to a half cut glass panel!! The apartment was too street noisy, would recommend...

The apartment is spacious and has complete facilities like aircon for all rooms, fridge, kitchenette and washing/dryer machine. Wished there is another bathroom. Service was good and staff were helpful to provide travelling information. Perfect location to get to anywhere around the city.

Had a great stay and thought the location was easy to get around from, just a short walk to the free trams and a train at Parliament station. We had a first floor room, So it was a little noisy at times in the wee hours due to the pub on the corner. But the beds were comfy and the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
