Our family of five just spent 4 nights in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was excellent and had all we needed- kitchen facilities, washing machine and air conditioning.
Perfect location for us to catch transport or explore. Also close to great pubs and restaurants.

Good choice for families. Big rooms, enough space for 5-6 people. May seem a bit outdated, but still clean. Nice kitchenette with main appliances you may need for breakfast. Good location - groceries near by, some nice cafes and restaurants. We really recommend “Grain House”...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

I just checked with their reception desk to make sure my memory was correct. Some of (not all) the larger apartments have their own washing machine and tumble dryer, plus there is a communal coin operated laundry within the hotel. Since reception is open 24/7 they will always give you some change for the machines.
If you have booked a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment send them a note and ask to be allocated one of the rooms with a washing machine. I find them very cooperative and helpful if they know of your need.
