Stayed overnight here on a recent trip in the camp grounds. Plenty of shade and reasonable showers and camp kitchen. A very friendly wallaby came into our camp for a pat. Visited Wunumurra gorge which was the purpose of the visit. Enjoyed the 4 wheel driving and bush walk to a special place. A good place if you want to...

If you want to stay on a working cattle station, Mt Elizabeth Station is the place to go. This is a working cattle station which also provides accomodation. Unlike Home Valley which was once a cattle station but now an up market resort, the accomodation is quite basic and the toilet and bathroom shared. Meals are more like a family...

Great for camping or caravans. Amenities very very good. Great camp kitchen. Wonderful drives to go on to swimming holes with lots to explore. Walks in area are great. Bird and animal life in abundance.

We arrived after a long dusty days drive along the Gibb River Road and were expecting a little country comfort and were more than a little disappointed. I booked this place a few weeks in advance without reading any reviews which was a mistake. It's fine for an overnight stay but I wouldn't imagine they get many guests staying longer...

After some relatively luxurious experiences along the Gibb River road, we were a little disappointed by the room condition (clean, but plain), but the warmth of the staff and the obvious 'family' feel of the homestead went a long way to redeem the rooms. We were greeted with afternoon tea on the front lawn, and spent an afternoon reading and...

An example of what lack of competition can do. The place is clean and the backpacker staff are friendly BUT the rooms are small with 1950s style single beds and furnishings with shared externally accessed bathrooms. Ok for a campsite but not for 'station accommodation' at the quite high prices charged. The included meals prepared by the backpackers were good...

The Standard Room with shared toilet facilities has a good size and is clean. Bathroom is clean and the shower is hot. Dinner and Breakfast, (cooked breakfast) is served and the food is good. Nice walk starts at the Station.

As others have said, clean but sparse rooms with shared facilities. Very basic construction, thin walls, but good staff. This is a beautiful setting and the road in only took about 40 minutes, good potential. Meals basic but tasty.

This property is about 30 kilometers off the Gibb River Road. After a hard day's driving we looked forward to a warm welcome and a cup of tea/coffee. Instead we shown to our austere/ basic room. The linen and blankets must have been at least 10 years old, there was no shampoo or soap, no glass for a drink, no...

We loved our stay at Mt Elizabeth recently. We met Pat Lacey who was very informative and helpful. We camped for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night relaxing. We drove out to Wunumurra gorge which was a highlight. The track was a challenge but worth it. There are no frills provided here but thoroughly...
