This was the second time we have stayed at Tom's Cottages, and again it did not disappoint. We have stayed in both Big Tom's and Little Tom's and both are lovely, however for a couple, Little Tom's is so cozy and romantic. The view from the porch is just amazing, and being able to lie in the comfy bed and...

The highlight of the trip was our three nights at Big Tom’s Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this beautiful spot – from the fresh flower arrangements, to the ample breakfast ingredients, to the comfortable beds and the beautiful views from the patio, the front door and out every window. Our one regret was that we visited in the summer...

When we arrived at Tom's Cottages, the wind was howling and the rain was coming down in sheets. But as soon as we walked into our warm, cozy Little Tom's Cottage we were as happy as we could be. The view from the back porch has become one of our favorite NZ memories: Te Mata peak, brilliant green grass, not...

We stayed in Little Tom's Cottage which was in a wonderfully secluded spot, away from the main house and other cottage and had its own drive. The location is very convenient for all the wineries and exploring the area. We were welcomed with freshly baked bread and the kitchen was stocked full of goodies for breakfast and all the basics...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Van was as helpful as he could be . The bed was very comfortable BUT there is a dirty big Cabbage tree that severely spoils the unbelievable view of Te Mata peak.I suggest this be transplanted this coming winter nothing a few musclebound tradies couldn't do. The shower was sub standard due to the...

We stayed for three nights in the smaller of Tom's cottage and would only say that it is average. The bed was rather uncomfortable, perhaps it requires updating. The view of Te Mata peak is stunning but there is an electricity pole right in the middle of the view. The outdoor bath tub was not working and I think this...

this little cabin was exactly what i was hoping it would be. if you think to yourself, "i'm going to new zealand and i want to feel like a local in the country without sacrificing comfort or cleanliness (amongst all kinds of other cool stuff)", this is the spot for you. great things: van, the proprietor, was a great guy--there...

My girlfriend and I spent two night at Tom's Cottage and had a great experience. The place is classified as a B&B but it is actually a small two bedroom house. The house is secluded and has beautiful views from both the front and the back. The house itself is very quaint with a fireplace and a deck. The kitchen...

We stayed in the small cabin at the lower end of the property. Prepare to be entertained by the abundant wildlife as cows, sheep, goats, and birds without number are very much in evidence. The house commands postcard views of Te Mata Peak and the lovely Tuki Tuki river. With Craggy Range and Black Barn wineries just up the street...

Wholly private location in stunning bush. Cottage compact but beautifully-appointed, including fully-equipped kitchen (with complementary organic eggs, bacon, preserves and freshly-baked bread) and indulgent bedroom with views over the valley. Comfortable verandah from which to enjoy the bird-song and setting sun over Te Mata. Blissful getaway, highly-recommended.
