We had high tea here for our wedding anniversary. The team were kind enough to book us in despite us calling up less than 24hrs prior to our intended reservation. They also surprised us with a special dessert which was a very nice touch. The high tea had a good selection of savouries and sweets. There was also a good...

I chose this hotel as it has scored #1 on Tripadvisor with lots of glowing reviews but we were disappointed with the value. It is a lovely boutique hotel with retro furnishings, a nice restaurant, comfy bed, spacious bathroom, complimentary arrival drinks and (modest) breakfast, right in the heart of the city and friendly staff but it's worth the top...

This was at the end of our trip to Nee Zealand. Although we are not big city people we found the hotel quaint & comfortable. Close to the city center you can walk to the park, go shopping or relax in their lounge or restaurant. Everything was very clean & the food was good.

Small hotel conveniently located close to the Sky Tower. Furnished with sixties furniture with some ethnic pieces thrown in. The bar and lounge area had a friendly buzz about it and was a nice place to relax after a busy day. Continental breakfast was included, cooked dishes were extra and seemed quite expensive. I would describe breakfast as adequate but...

My wife and I stayed there and we loved it. It has a great location, service and you can walk to many of the tourist attractions. We also took a day tour of the Glowworm Caves and Hobbiton Movie set. Highly Recommend!

Be sure to stay here if you are in Auckland. We stayed one night and hoped to return after our whirlwind trip around the North island but they were completely booked. We ended up at another large hotel only blocks away and we sure did miss Hotel de Brett! This hotel is the oldest in Auckland, exudes charm and has...

Too bad welcoming upon arrival... I booked 2 nights with Orbitz using PayPal for payment of USD367. At check in because I have no credit card, I use to make a cash deposit that first was declined. Finally after 5 minutes talk, the receptionist asked me for NZD800 which is the double price of the whole stay... Surprised I show...

We got this on a special deal. Standard price is not so good value but the hotel is excellent and would definitely stay here again. The food was great, staff were excellent and went out their way to help, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable.
