First time I have stayed here. Excellent location by the sea and yachting wharf. Very good sized room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately a very noisy train runs past a few times over night and builders started work during sleep in time. Cafes, bars and restaurants just 2 min walk away. Would recommend staying if you dont mind the two trains... More

The location was great. On the waterfront with ample handy Cafe's and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay for the spacious well provisioned rooms and ample parking. More effort could have been made to have our three rooms handy to each other rather than located throughout the complex. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Beware unit facing out on to the deck (... More

This place has seen better days but charges like 5 star. Decor from the eighties. Bathroom in particular needs overhaul. Beds very uncomfortable and could feel the springs. Won't bother going back especially at those prices. Nice views.

Stayed here as a sports team. Really good location for food and going out at night with no need for transport. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Nice view from the rooms. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very warm. 2 bedroom great for socialising as a team.

We booked into this lodge on a brief stay in Napier. It is ideally situated to the airport and all the highlights of the port area. While somewhat dated it is clean and comfortable and I would happily return.

I seem to be jinxed with accommodation when staying in Napier... As I live rurally with double glazed Windows, you become aware of noise when staying away from home. So this time I figured being down by the marina, what could go wrong?? There is a damn train which goes at the back of the lodge a couple of times... More

Ok the view is nice from the room. But the room is tired and in need of redecoration. We had to ask everyday for a second towel and soap. There were two of us in the room. My teenager makes her bed better than the room staff. They advertise spa baths but there is not enough hot water to fill.... More

Unfortunately pretty average. Poor design so no balcony and view of sea is obstructed by people constantly walking the front of the room. The view / front of the unit is the walkway. Front desk lady less than welcoming, we felt an inconvenience to her day and couldn't ship up off fast enough - also complained how inconvenient it was... More

Stayed for two nights and liked the harbour location. Reception staff were great and recommended many local restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Very helpful too when my friend was stung by a bee! Rooms clean and spacious with communal balcony area overlooking the harbour.

We have stayed here twice on visits to NZ , very friendly, good laundry facilities, nice rooms with cooking facilities and wifi. Looks out onto marina and not too far from the centre. Fabulous fish and chip shop nearby, a nature reserve and done wonderful sights to see in the area.
