We found our room to be comfortable if a little dated. Bed was OK but probably should be replaced within 12 months. WIFI was good. Breakfast good. Location is very good, close to restaurants, waterfront, and once you sort the roads out it is easy to get to the city. Spa baths - who uses these? Makes getting into/out of...

From the moment we arrived we were fronted with the most abrupt and unfriendly person you could ever find. The rooms were very ordinary, and the beds still had the electric blankets on, in the middle of February. The towels were clean, but were obviously very stained, so you felt as though they weren't clean. The internet was off more...

Great location and the room was great but there is an enormous construction site at the rear and the noise is deafening. We were woken at about 7 am and due to the heat, had no option but to leave the window open. Id come back here, but maybe in a year when all the building work is done

We had a spacious studio with spa on the top floor. The view was lovely and the proximity to bars, cafes and shops was all within walking distance so very pleasant to stroll to. The towels were changed daily which was a nice surprise as many hotels and motels give you the option to save water and not change them....

We made a late booking here and the lady at reception was very good and gave us a room on the first floor overlooking the mariner. All you could want in the room if anything we found it a little dated but clean and tidy. We had a spa bath and their was a good air-con. Not to sure about...

On the plus side - the location is lovely. Next to the habour, down the road from some cafe's and bars - makes it easy to relax. Added to that the rooms are clean, roomy, and well appointed (no stove or hot plate - just a microwave but otherwise the kitchen is ok). Price wise we got a one bedroom...

We booked this just after Christmas so it was quite a busy time. In hine sight I would have asked for a room on an upper level as we were on the ground floor so not much to see. The room itself was big and roomy. The bathroom was also big but looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in...

Had a great 1 nights stay at the Anchorage. The room was very clean & tidy, the location & views of the harbour & marina are impressive. Had a short walk past the fishing boats to the restaurants that serve great food. A good area to stay in with helpful staff. Will use the Anchorage again.

Stayed for 5 nights in January. Room was tidy and perfect for our needs. Impressed with room daily cleaning. Room was spacious and included spa bath which we used most nights. Only downside was the guests in rooms who used their spa baths after 10pm, even one night a spa bath started up at 11:30pm even when room info book...

We had a lovely stay at the Anchorage Motor Lodge, with the huge exception of the very smelly room. Apparently previous people had left the shower running which seeped into the carpet . We had the unfortunate experience of being after them and carpet was wet, carpet had been seen to but when the room was shut up for a...
