My husband and arrived here on the 30th December for 3 days in our caravan. Today is the 8th Jan and we're still here. We love it. The sites each have their private area which is hedged. There are picnic tables around you can drag onto your site. The few permanent guests are fabulous and are now like family. The...

Booked Cabin 55 for my parents and site 16 asking for a cabin that had ensuite toilet and queen bed. We have traveled extensively in NZ and this is by far the worst camp site we have stayed in. I see that their website video if way out of date as they have obviously had a change of ownership and...

Our non-powered site was nice and green --small trees either side. The picnic table on most sites was also a welcome addition. Being a short stroll to the beach, we enjoyed fish n chips on the beach one night (from Hawkes Bay Fisheries) a bbq in the outdoor cooking area another night and we popped across the road to Crab...

Excellent camping site! The staff were always willing to answer questions and make suggestions for meals/activities. We showed up a day early and they were willing to accommodate us without any problem. The bathrooms/showers and kitchen were spotless. Water HOT! Rented bikes for the day. Good value.

Had a cabin with own bathroom and own kitchen. Kitchen could be better equipped as - for what reason ever - there are no hot plates allowed and you have only one huge pan you can use for cooking. There is no Spa Area as it is in other Kiwi Holiday Parks but the beach at Hawke's Bay is very...

We stayed in a waterfront motel unit for three nights. The unit was clean and well maintained with a nice view out to Hawke Bay. We booked a more expensive unit for the last night but the management juggled things around which allowed us to stay where we were. They also refunded the extra charge which I thought was really...

I stay alot at this park and decided to hold a birthday night for my little 10 year old. She invited 4 friends and they stayed in the unit next to us. Both units had room to sleep 5 person with a toliet, shower (best shower pressure ever) vanity, table, chairs, bedding, kitchen basic (toaster, microwave, electric frying pan and...

Have stayed here before, nice setting by pebble covered beach. Disappointed in camp - bathrooms were in good condition, but kitchen not. Dirty marks on walls, cook tops very old and corroded. Also, grounds very untidy and gardens full of weeds.Stayed at another Kiwi camp in Taupo, which was immaculate.

Stayed Thursday 8th September for one night. Booked a powered site for a campervan. Great park right on beach front with views across to Napier and Bluff Hill. We choose a site right on the front to take advantage of the views. Most of the park is set down behind the sand dunes which gives it protection from strong winds....

Great spot- can't get much closer to the beach- good choice of cabins and furnished units to choose from. Kind of wished I had a motor home though, and you can park almost on top of the sand dunes. Good people, good cafe - recommended.
