Room@53 was beautiful! A luxurious little gem in Napier. We stayed here in December 2009 and wished we could’ve stayed longer! The owner and hostess Kerrie took care of every detail. She had a bottle of white wine chilling when we got there!! We were able to unwind with our glass in the jacuzzi after a long day of travel.... More

We really enjoyed our stay at room@53. Our host Kerrie was most helpful, always happy to answer questions and make suggestions for places to visit. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, fresh fruits, muesli, toasts, jams, coffee / tea, orange juice etc., enough to feed an army! The room that we stayed in was clean and tastefully decorated - the pillows... More

This such a great place. Just perfect. The rooms, decor, location (opposite Misison Estate winery) are just great. The host Kerrie treats like a best friend, very friendly, helpful and the breakfasts were great ! Cant recommend it highly enough !

We only spent one night at Room@53, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The garden chalet was great value for money, with a lounge area and well stocked kitchenette. Comfortable bed, good ensuite. Lots of helpful advice and information about the area. About 5 minutes walk from the centre of Napier and we absolutely loved the resident cat... More

Room@53 is a lovely B&B located within short walking distance to the beautiful Mission Estate winery. This was however just an added bonus as the warmth you receive while staying there just makes you want to stay in and enjoy the sun with the occasional cooling off in the pool. Our hostess, Kerrie, really opened up her home and we... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the Room @ 53 B&B and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kerrie is a great hostess and prepares a enormous and breakfast. She gives you space and we took advantage of the outdoor spa / hot tub. The B&B is reasonably priced and perfect walking distance to two great vineyards, which are literally... More

Carrie and Chris are new to the B&B business but it does not show. They are a delightful young couple. They have a lovely home and the rooms were small but very confortable. On our arrival they offered us some great NZ wine by the pool. They recommended the Mission Winery for dinner and it turned out to be the... More

My wife and I spent two nights at Room@53 when we travelled to Hawke's Bay for some wine tasting. When we arrived, Kerrie and Chris (owners) were working in the front garden and greeted us with smiles and open arms, even offering to help us with our bags. They showed us to our room and showed us where everything was... More
