Stayed Monday 29th August, booked powered site for campervan for one night. We choose this park because it is part of Kiwi Holiday Parks group. Ideal location if you want to be out of town with the river nearby. Might be a bit too quiet if you were there for a few days. The facilities are old but well maintained... More

We give this title to our review because in this camping we spent one night in the most delicious and unique place we ever had the chance to set our tent in: a small Samoan beach faleo’o (a platform on small stilts with a thatched roof), just next and above the river that runs alongside the camping ground. Curiously enough,... More

A excellent park with immaculate facilities and super friendly and accommodating staff. The only negative is the traffic noise. Well behaved dogs are welcome and close to shops etc . definately value for money.

We had a powered site, bathrooms clean but dated. Great play area for children, with a small flying fox. Ok TV area. Lots of trees which will make nice shade in the peek of summer. Not walking distance to town, a short drive.

Firstly this campsite is not to be confused with Bay of Islands Holiday Apartments and Campervan Park which is right in the town of Paihia. We got a little confused as to which one we had booked! This one is about a 10 minute drive from the town and is situated in a lovely riverside setting. We had one of... More

We arrived at the park at 7.30 on a Sunday night. The room we got was awful. Looked different than the photo on the website. Thought we were getting a 2 bedroom room. Queen bed in the main area, double bed behind some curtains. Kitchen area along the wall behind some slat doors. Found a number of daddy long legs... More

We did not stay (although it looked fun) but used the camp to pick up the keys to our book-a-bach booking. The staff were very helpful and even let our delayed suitcases get delivered there the next day. Thanks Gordon and Anna. PS - Take Gordon's advice and dine at the RSA when you are in Paihia, great value for... More

This is a quiet holiday park located beside a river about 6 km from Paihia. We stayed in a very large room that had a double bed and 4 single beds. There was a small refrigerator in the room. A curtain divided most of the sleeping area from the rest of the room. The double bed was very comfy. Our... More

We stayed in one of the one-room cabins and were also able to pitch our tent opposite our cabin at no extra cost. The managers were incredibly helpful and friendly and really helped to make for an enjoyable stay. We loved the location which was peaceful with large beautiful trees and great amenities for kids. We spent one entire day... More

Great holiday park for children. Loved the kids areas, river, feeding the ducks and quiet surrounds. Very close to the town and a great family option. Being 6 months pregnant and travelling with a 2 year old we opted for the more expensive 2 bedroom tourist flat hoping for a level of comfort. However felt the amenities were lacking. The... More
