We stayed here for 2 nights and wished we had booked it for 2 weeks. We had the best room(room 34) at the top of the motel with floor to ceiling windows looking straight out at Paihia bay (see photo). The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We slept well on a comfortable bed. Our host, Jo,...

We stayed for 6 nights on vacation and loved the location, views, and one bedroom apartment on the top floor.. It was exactly as we expected, no surprises. Jo was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to everything, including the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and Museum, the harbour, cruises, and ferry to Russell. One highlight was the bus tour to...

We booked a studio room which had a fabulous view of the bay. Very clean and tidy comfortable bed and great views straight out over the water. Really well priced. The manager was friendly and the room was serviced daily.

We booked for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable with lovely views of the Bay of Islands. The area was very quiet but only a few minutes walk into town restaurants and shops as well as the pier for the Russell ferry. The reception staff were very friendly...

Tucked away, just outside Paihia this B&B provides a welcome retreat with stunning views out across the magnificent Bay of Islands. Mike the host provides spotless, comfortable, well appointed rooms with good quality beds and a first class breakfast to start the day. Possibly a little far to walk to the cafes and restaurants of Paihia but only a few...

We pulled into this motel based entirely on the location without a booking and without checking TripAdvisor. We were warmly welcomed, given our choice of rooms and immediately felt at home. On noticing that we both had colds our lovely host delivered extra tissues, tea bags and fresh lemons to our room. Our self contained, recently renovated studio apartment (No...

We booked for 2 nights but unfortunately had to cancel at on the morning of the first night, we were charged 1 nights accomodation, Thought this was unreasonable as it was due to circumstances out of our control that we could not fulfil the booking.

I got a really good deal online, but even the walk In rate for this time of the year is excellent value. I was given unit 8 which is on the top floor and faced the Bay. Even though weather wasnt good it was so relaxing sitting looking at the sea. The unit was clean and spacious for a studio...

Talk about "room with a view".. not many accomodations will match the scenery from the premium rooms here...Boats,vehicles,strollers all pass by to or from downtown Paihia. Comfy, convenient and relatively quiet, you are a 2min walk from the main wharf and shops of Paihia..The walk is well lit so evening strolls to dinner or take outs can be very pleasant.. Sure it's...

My husband and I made a reservation for the Friday of Waitangi Day weekend. Coming from Canada, unfortunately we had no clue why prices where so steep. We paid $210 for 1 night in a room that was right next to the office. If their phone rang, we looked around our room for the phone. If someone, pressed the buzzer...
