The duty managers are really not at all helpful.. Damn Arrogant... Required help for Vegetarian food but they were not ready to make anything special for vegetarians. When we asked for help for our dry packed food, they refused to do so.. All other 4 star hotels in New Zealand were always ready to give Microwave or Hot Plate and...

Hi kunal g Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Holiday Inn Rotorua. I was very disappointed to read your comments about our staff not being helpful. The interactions that you experienced are not typical of our team. We have many guests with special dietary requirements due to allergies, religious beliefs, and personal choice, and we try to...

The staff in this hotel are very friendly, particularly in the restaurant. The outdoor pool is wonderfully warm and not busy. Our room was a fourth floor superior room which was in need of refurbishment, but comfortable nevertheless. The food in the restaurant is good, particularly the buffet breakfast and dinner. However the dining room is understaffed and if you...

This is a beautiful modern hotel in a very fine location at the south end of the city, right next to the Pohutu Geyser and its huge thermal springs area, and the Whakarewarewa Maori Village. I had a room on the top floor of the tower section, overlooking the geyser and springs. All parts of the hotel were modern, up-to-date,...

Hi Kenny0654 Thanks for staying with us and for your comprehensive review. As noted we are doing work around our recently upgraded lifts and are looking forward to finishing the corridors with new carpet when it is a little quieter later in the year. I noted your comments regarding inconsistent service in Chapmans and will address them with our Food...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very clean room and hotel. The hotel was busy while we were there, so the swimming pool and jacuzzi were swamped by loud, energetic children letting off steam (school holidays). The Maori village over the road is a must visit, with its hot geysers and excellent view of the regular giant geyser next door. 5...

Hi Tr3vor Thanks for your review. We do have a great location for people wanting to experience our Maori culture and geothermal activity. Our proximity to the Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve is also what enables us to have the large heated pool which uses geothermal energy. I hope we can welcome you back in the future. Maureen

Spent two nights here at the start of our NZ road trip. Very helpful staff and good bright clean room with balcony. Swimming pool area was of high standard although the pool was a bit warm! Took the evening buffet meal one evening and it was of a reasonable standard. We liked the minibus transport into town centre (free)

My dad has moved to Oz to work. We travelled out of town to have dinner. Food was delicious. Price was fare. Lots of parking available. Service was great and workers were awesome. Well worth travelling to and if you love oysters, seafood chowder and lots more yummy kai. then you will love to dine here :)

Arrived with a small group of 15, our bags were speedily delivered to our rooms. Clean, comfortable rooms, with every convenience even of soft and firm pillows, two sets for each bed. Swimming pool, with towels ready for use. Had breakfast/and dinner at the hotel - both buffets - excellent selection

Right down to towels at the poolside to the extra visit to our room to ensure that we had everything that was needed. Close to town, the Redwood Forest and the lake. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.
