My cousin and I stayed here for 2 nights and compared our experience at Sport of Kings to every other hotel/motel we stayed at during our 10 day trip to New Zealand. As the subject line indicates, the other properties couldn't match the service provided by Tristan and Pete. From letting us know about the shuttle service provided by Te...

I was very pleased with Sport of Kings. I wasn't necessarily expecting an AMAZING place to stay, but rather I was looking for a clean place, a convenient place, and place that offered a good value. Sport of Kings fit that bill. I recommend it!

Just passing Through so we stopped here for the night. Really friendly couple that run the place. Very clean rooms and a superb pool. Also a brilliant BBQ available for all guests so with a quick trip to the local supermarket and you are sorted. If you are looking for a motel in Rotorua I would recommend this place.

There are over 100 motels in Fenton St, Rotorua... and over 100 reasons to turn off Fenton Street into Peace Street (the name offers a clue) to find the Sport of Kings motel. We were greeted with a lovely smile and news that the outdoor pool was 26 degrees and our private in-room spa was 39 degrees. We fielded questions...

We stayed only one night but couldn't fault the accommodation, advice and general helpfulness of our hosts. Full marks on all counts, including bookings for maori village, family lunch and breakfast in room.

Spent 2 nights at King of Sports Motel and despite poor summer weather (New Zealand is lush and green for a very good reason!) it was absolutely brilliant. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great advice on where to go locally and lots of discount vouchers to ease the burden on the wallet. Fantastic accommodation...

From the moment we landed in Rotorua and met Pete and his "newly wed" wife we felt such an awesome sense of warmth. Both the hosts and their cute little daughter provide a sense of family in a superb property. The rooms are very clean and well stocked. We particularly loved the grounded coffee, the French press and the private...

We stayed 2 nights in a King Suite Room, We asked for quiet but I doubt it was necessary as the whole place was quiet being just off the main road. Reception couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone.
