Nice, small room facing a park. Older facility but clean. Nice restaurant, kitchen and lounge. Helpful, understanding staff. The best part was hanging out in the warm pool at night and meeting people while gazing at the Southern Cross.

This place has nice facilities, but the night we stayed, people were very noisy until around 1am! The rooms are sparse,no TV,no fridge,etc...only shared kitchen facilities. If you want somewhere quiet, this isn't the place for you,it's just way too busy! The pool was nice though, the beds were comfortable, and its not too far away from the city centre. We stayed in...

Staff were friendly & helpful. Good quality & cheap priced Breakfast & Dinner. Everybody seemed to be enjoying there stay. Handy to have so many facilities on site. Unfortunately the weather didn't play the game, so never got to try the heated swimming pool. Maybe next time :) thanks for the hospitality

We stayed in a double room and it does what it says on the tin, you get four walls and a bed (with linen). Communal areas and showers do their job. What made our stay very worthwhile was the extremely useful and helpful staff who pretty much planned our trip for us, providing insight on what activities to do and...

First impressions of the reception area was that this was a nice modern place.. check in was ok although the receptionist was a little short. Our double room had a musty stench that matched how old and worn the furniture and room looked. The shared bathroom seemed to be cleaned each day but for some reason old mouldy hand towels...

Place has a fairly cool vibe at first, but wasn't thoriughly impressed with the pool or rooms. I had a top bunk, with a ladder which was fairly difficult to go down on as it only had one ''handlebar'' on top, so both times I used it I almost fell. The kitchen was fairly big and there's a bar as...

I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights and it was passable at best. The bedroom was small, dark and old. The walls are thin and we could hear every footstep taken in the room above. The kitchen facilities were okay but there wasn't enough cutlery or tea towels. There is no free wifi which was a joke. It's...

We arrived in December 2016 too stay for one night. From the outside everything looks quite nice, but once you enter a room everything is different. Rooms are shabby, prison-like, beds mainly consist of two piled mattresses (next morning my back was broken). The common bathrooms are crowded, dirty and the toilets were clogged. The kitchen is dirty too, so...

The place is ok, however even for a Backpackers the are better places in Rotorua for a similar price. We stayed for 1 night in November 2016, we had a twin room on the bottom floor of the lodge. The room was big enough for two single beds and a chair. There wasn't even room to walk between the beds!...
