We stayed here for a night and it is a good little hostel. Very close to the Rotorua lake and the town center, it is well worth an option. Of the many hostels we ended up staying in New Zealand, this was the one which seemed to have more rules than others. At check in we were given a long...

People are awesome and they have something to do every night - movie nights, pool, BBQs, etc. It's a great way to meet people if you're a solo traveler, or just have some down time. The beds are super comfy, and there's free rice and pasta which helps a lot for travelers on a budget - plus its right across...

Really good hostel. Facilities clean, lockers in dorms for valuables (bring your own locks). There is a bar in the hostel so you cannot byo but prices are reasonable. Wifi was occasionally slow during high traffic times.

Crash Palace is a great spot in Rotorua, it was so nice to stay in a hostel with character. The staff were lovely throughout and everyone I met was happy and chatty. I stayed in a twin room on my own which was still a good price, the large dorm rooms are very cheap. It was a little noisy at...

I slept well. Had my own Ensuite room. It was clean and comfortable. Easy walk into town, and a minute away from the Polynesian Spa, and Maori village tour ( both of which I highly recommend!) Thanks to Pascal at the front desk. He sorted out some issues I had with a booking and it was greatly appreciated. Very friendly...
