Permanent residents - are they courtesy of WINZ?, run down units, no maintenance for years (missing window catch, lock broken on bathroom, dripping shower, toilet seat broken). i only saw ONE rat. Noisy permanent neighbour played music late into the night. The pool was half empty, overgrown, and dark green. It is not in use. Don't bring your children here....

Booked a room with bathroom at $110 per night. Would expect a lot better for this price. Room was dirty with mildew on curtain which was falling down. First night was freezing with paper thin blanket and the heating didn't work! Saw management in the morning but they didn't seem particularly interested and only gave small refund after I asked...

Stayed here as a group of 5 in the bunk room over looking the sea, and that is where the good part ends. Room was not clean and a pool of water in our bathroom, plus tv was in the top corner and hard to watch with a bunk in the way. Pool and spa was not working which was...

On arrival we already got mixed feelings. Lady in office was very friendly but the whole place is run down. I guess that a lot of caravans are permanent and they do look grotty but the worst thing was the kitchen. The stoves were so dirty and I would not want to cook my meal on them. Lucky that we...

Arrived very late but had no problem checking in, owners are super friendly which made us feel like we were staying at a family members. Room was exactly what we needed which accommodated 6 adults. Had awesome view of inlet which we could sit on our balcony and enjoy. Close to all amenities with bus stop right outside which takes...

We were short on budget friendly accommodation options, as we were visiting Tauranga on a holiday weekend. We booked a private cabin, with use of the shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. We've travelled extensively and aren't very fussy, so expected it would be fine. It wasn't. I don't think that the showers ever get cleaned, you could see patches in...

The only good thing going for this place is the view over the water. We paid $38 a night for an unpowered site, so basically just a small spot of grass to park our van in. Bathrooms were disgusting. We were there for 5 days, soap ran out on the first day and was never replenished. I saw a cleaner...

The site was ok but that is where the good ends. The toilets were filthy and not cleaned the weekend I stayed. The kitchen was a mess! BUT worst of all...NO FRESH DRINKABLE WATER! I was NOT told of this and it wasnt until I went to the kitchen to make a cold drink that I saw the signs not...
