A relly nice hotel located in a quiet street right in the heart of the city. The place has a nice 'quirky' feel to it which we liked, our room was on the ground floor in an annex and was very nicely furnished, spacious and well equipped. There are only 2 parking spaces on-site and these have to be booked...

I repeatedly stay at Gourmet Stay. It is a very central location, the staff are extremely helpful and the rooms are good value for a capital city. Although I didn't choose the breakfast option this time, previous times I have stayed here it has been delicious.

Very clean room, lovely bed and great kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast which was included in price. Room was quite small but was fine. Location was only a few blocks from the iconic Cuba St.

Great little place - our room was quite small but then we were out all the time so didn't really matter. They only have two parking spaces which need to be booked or you cab shuffle your car - all day around the corner for $11 and then on the street between 6pm and 8am. Continental breakfast very simple but...

Amazing value for money - fantastic location, sooo quiet and yet right in the heart of the city - walkable to the water front, great eating, shopping locations and of course Te Papa. We stayed in the 'family rooms' with attached bathroom in the hallway. Great for the four of use with two bedrooms. Tea/coffee and even a fridge in...

You want to be near great food? Yup, this is the place to be. It’s an easy walk to all of the awesomeness of Cuba Street and Courtenay Place. Fresh scones in the morning were pretty epic, and the staff was wonderfully friendly. Sadly, the place missed the mark in other ways. Our room had a separate, private bathroom across...

We were four singles and chose to stay in a family room. It was pretty snug for four adults, but we're good friends so that was ok. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was well appointed. Dear tipsfromatraveller Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. It was a pleasure having you all here. Unfortunately due to the high winds in Wellington at present, any outdoor furniture is safely kept inside, but would have provided this for you if requested. If extra linen, bedding is required, our guests just need to make...
