In Wellington for a few days, we decided to book a couple of nights at a local BNB and boy were we thrilled with our decision. Located in a quiet seaside town, and only a bus ride from Wellington, we were delighted with our room for the next few days. Not only clean, spacious and well taken care of, the... More

Acorns is a terrific BNB! The hosts are welcoming, facilities perfect and location amazing. We really appreciated the little details, the beautiful contemporary decor and the peaceful courtyard. Thank you Emily and Tim for sharing your beautiful home.

It is no surprise to us that our hosts, Emily and Tim, have won awards for their warm welcome and fantastic contemporary apartment. Situated in a quiet seaside community and just 10 minutes drive or bus from Wellington centre. There cannot be a better place to stay in Wellington irrespective of cost. The warm, generousity and thoughtfulness of our hosts... More

We loved this B&B - it's an unusual set-up in that breakfast supplies are delivered when the room is cleaned every day, so you can have as much or as little interaction with the owners as you want (they very kindly drove us into Wellington one day). We thought this worked really well. The B&B is in a small suburb... More

Relaxing, well appointed and spacious with very friendly hosts. Will stay here again sometime. Felt very private yet close to Wellington city. Delicious breakfast and home cooking. Sunny and private courtyard was the perfect place for a lazy start to the day.

Emily and Tim are so welcoming and helpful and hospitable. The accommodations were terrific. Since this was toward the end of a 19 day journey through NZ, the washer and dryer in our suite were quite helpful. Both Emily and Tim have obviously thought of everything to make this a perfect place to say. We highly recommend Acorns. The location... More

Now, let's see, where do I start with my review? I will try to condense this experience into a few lines of text, being well aware of its inherent limitations. My girlfriend and I had the chance to stay at the Acorns on three different occasions during our recent journey around New Zealand and we always left it with a satisfied smile on our... More

We recently enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at the Acorns. Our very attractive, quiet, modern, clean, comfortable studio room was accessed through its own private patio. It was equipped with basic kitchen amenities, a nice selection of reading materials, maps and other helpful items, lovely chocolate, and absolutely delicious fresh homemade goodies! Our host Emily warmly greeted us, showed... More
