Similar, but we kept the car as the drop off point was the ferry terminal so for us it made sense to do that. The car though sat outside the acorns during the one full day (we stayed 2 nights) and we used public transport (which was brilliant) and walked whilst in Wellington. To be fair the car was handy for the evening as well. A fabulous B&B though you won't be sorry!!
