I had to book this motel at the last minute due to a family member going into Wellington Hospital. They accommodated my request for a quieter room as I was at the back of the property with a neighbour on only one side. I had a double bed and a single bed in the room as well as a small...

Stayed there again this year. While perhaps a little small our unit was spotless with what appears to be a brand new bathroom - most impressive. As before the owners/staff were very friendly and helpful -would stay again as good value.

Nicely refurbished, clean and little cramped but reasonably priced and helpful staff. Close to supermarket, hospital and city, lovely touch of the culture of the Wellington, would recommend to others. Busy road again close to all you needed, close to buses tunnel clean microwave

This was an ideal location for Wellington Public Hospital and Southern Cross Hospital. Also couple of minutes walk to buses to the city and the local supermarket. I was on my own and felt very safe walking in the neighbourhood. The room was very cosy with small dining table separated by the bed by half a wall. Microwave, toast, jug...

Motel has recently been refurbished with new kitchens and bathrooms. Very clean, bed firm but silky sheets. Space was a bit tight but thats because there was 12 of us occupying a room at one time - we booked two units and had 3 visitors. Countdown Supermarket across the road and Colombus Cafe - excellent breakfast. It is on a...

Rooms are very small. The good thing about these rooms is they are charged per room and not person. Whilst clean the kitchen appliances are very dated (in or room anyway). I never met the owners even when checking out. Parking on the road is the best option. There is FREE wi-fi. Right next to supermarket and Newtown town.
