We have been traveling there on our family holiday and just wanted to stay one night before boarding the plane to Sydney. Wllington is a small town and we could just walk out of the hotel to reach the cable car, the harbour and other local attractions. The room we had was spacious with two double bed with a view...

My wife and I had a 2 night stay in Wellington for a special celebration and decided that 'a quality venue' was in order. We're glad we selected Amora Hotel Wellington. We booked a Club Suite (Floor 5) and it was truly marvelous. By booking a Club Suite we got access to the Club Lounge on Level 9. This brings...

A bit dated in some of the common areas but otherwise was beautiful and very well situated. Room service was incredibly tasty! Concierge were always willing to help with confirming tours and helping you be in the right place.

this hotel is a good business hotel, but is due for a refurbishment. The rooms are large and well appointed, but the other facilities are a little dated. The hotel us close to Te Papa, but some distance (albeit walkable) from the business district.

Slightly older style rooms but very glamorous and spacious. Great location - across the road from the museum and right in the heart of the shops. Walking distance to funky Cuba street. And that was all before I learned that Viggo stayed there when he was filming Lord of the Rings :)

This hotel is just a walk across the road from the concert venue of the Michael Fowler Centre. The rooms here do potentially have harbour views although the rise of a tall new apartment block in front of this hotel have blocked direct views of the main harbour. Our valet parking was right out in front of the front door...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. It was very convenient for central Wellington and the facilities were pleasant. I cannot understand why high-end hotels charge for wifi, when more modest accommodation includes it for free. Even 3rd-world countries provide free wifi. Having said that, Amora was very nice, well appointed and the service was very good. However, the nasty charges for wifi detracts from the entire experience.
