The lodge is about 50 minutes from Greymouth and about half of the drive is on a dirt road. It was very hot and since there is no A/C or even a single fan, we headed to the lake for a swim. There isn't a beach but there is a slippery boat ramp. The lodge is not on the lake

Awesome place! Beautifully, well built house with all the amenities and great location! Perfect pkace to stay only a few miles from toen! Float the river, shop in town or cook a feast for 16 and relax in the hot tub.
