We had not planned to stop here but due to an accident we needed some medical help. We pulled into the Heritage lodge for the night and Blair and Jen could not have been more helpful in arranging for the district nurse. Dinner around the corner and a good night's sleep saw us limping on our way. Many thanks once...

My husband and I had a one night stop in Haast. The studio we had, was basic and small, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Close to eating places. Certainlly met our needs for the night. Would be happy to stay again.

Booked a twin room through the internet and didn't;t expect a ballroom. However this was around than the bathroom in other places. It was clean, which was most important, but very dated. Walls are really paper thin, as said by others already. You can hear guests stirring their tea three rooms down. No alternative for the future. Very limited wifi.

Nice units with all the comforts looking over native bush. One bedroom unit has Queen bed in lounge and two x singles in bedroom. Full kitchen and bathroom has shower, no bath. Laundry next to room 13. Tui &Wood pigeon sitting in the kowhai tree outside our room. Friendly owners. TV has 3 or 5 channels and WIFI is via...

This hotel does the job for one night - but even that may be a stretch. Yes, it was clean but the walls, as other reviewers have noted, really are paper thin. Amenities are a bit thin on the ground - kettle and toaster - but there was only one shop to buy supplies from and stocks were low. Make...

Very compact unit showing signs of age & lack of investment, limited facilities, only a toaster & a grubby kettle, bathroom quite small, not particularly clean either. Walls paper thin, you could hear people talking & flushing toilet in the adjacent units. The mosquitoes & sand flies are also an issue, with limited ventilation quite stuffy too. If it's a...

We booked a room here through the I-Site visitors center in Queenstown. It was a convenient stop on the way to Franz Josef. As noted in other reviews, the room was basic and there was no wifi. The little, onsite cafe was convenient for breakfast and it was within walking distance to Hard Antlers, a local bar/restaurant.

This is an old motel but the price charged for one night is fair. Our room was clean and tidy, linen was fresh. The welcome at reception on arrival was helpful and positive. If you are travelling through and need an economical overnight stay I can recommend these guys.

We stayed at Heritage Park Lodge as SH6 Haast To Makarora was closed due to heavy snow on the road. We found the room comfortable for the night, but expensive considering the size and the fact that the room was quite dated and the appliances/furniture shabby. We've stayed in other motels in NZ for the same price or less, and...
