The hosts are ultra friendly and helpful. The cottages themselves are very neat with a bit of rustic old world charm about them. The breakfast provisions are great, especially the eggs which come from the chooks on the property. The living area in our cottage, the shearing shed, was very spacious and all the facilities were there if you wanted... More

Our stay in one of these cottages was so enjoyable that we booked to return for a night at the end of our trip! The hosts were excellent - friendly and helpful. They even provided ingredients for us to cook a fresh 'farm-style' breakfast. Our cottage was cute and comfortable in a rural/vineyard area. The petanque terrain, the animals and... More

We stayed in the Shearers Quarters couldn't fault the accommodation , lovely fresh farm eggs for breakfast , set on 5 acres with fruit trees, the hosts were wonderful, nothing was to much trouble, only wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed in the cottage and felt at home the minute we stepped in. Marcus and Michelle were great hosts, and left us with their fresh eggs, homemade marmalade and jellies, juice, milk, and wonderful bread for breakfast. Oranges and lemons were ours to pick, and we had rosemary bushes right outside the front door. Perfect for a lemon Rosemary... More

We only spent one night here, in the Old Dairy. We would have liked a longer stay. The property is beautiful, the hosts are friendly, and it's fun to feed the sheep (and ourselves) oranges from the trees. Breakfast supplies included wonderful eggs from their hens. I can't imagine a better place to stay in the area. We will be... More

I am happy to be saying thank you for such a wonderful stay but embarassed to be putting it on so late. After our trip to NZ at end of 2015 I had so many reviews to put on it was too daunting and I left it far too long. From the moment we arrived at St Leonards vineyard cottages... More

Marcus and Michele are wonderful hosts welcoming you and explaining not only the property but the surrounding area, where to go and what to do. We stayed at the Shearing shed which was a delight. Loved the outlook across the vines. It was quiet we never heard another guest the entire time we stayed. The breakfast provided was really good,... More

In all my travels, it is very rare that you connect with the hosts within minutes and continue to enjoy their company to the end. Michele & Markus' gesture of walking to the car to greet guests brought back great memories of visiting the family farm. If you love old fashioned, warm hospitality, a farm feel and want to rest... We loved our stay at St Leonard's Vineyard Cottages. The setting is beautiful - with lovely gardens, complete with orange trees, and fabulous rooms. We stayed in The Stables which was perfect. It has been decorated wonderfully and has everything you need. The hosts Marcus and Michele are fantastic. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off... More

We stayed at St Leonards for 3 nights in October 2015. It is a very pleasant setting. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and interactive. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast that was provided each day. There was plenty of it and the owners were very generous with providing us with additional free range... More
