We stayed for 2 nights during a very hot spell. The windows couldn't be left open as our room was on the main road and it was noisy. The hotel provided us with a fan - but this was not ideal. The staff were very helpful and the location is fine - 15 minutes across the park to…
This was a very comfortable hotel that had everything we need and the location in Christchurch was really good as well. The service we received was also excellent. The are some good restaurants nearby which are worth checking out as well.
This motel is part of a small, local group (Williams Hotels) and reading a few T/advisor reviews before our visit we had reservations, but we quite enjoyed our recent three night stay at Towers on the Park. The reception staff were great, being welcoming and useful for…
No air con, fraying round the edges, basic amenities in the room. Well placed for the park and the botanical gardens. No food offered. This in my opinion is not a holiday makers place to stay, it is more of a business venue. Would not consider another stay here.
Thank goodness we were only here overnight , very basic with no cooking facilities at all and shoddy generally . However was a nice walk across the park to the centre of Christchurch and on the right side of town for the airport
"Make sure you don't back on to the road"
"Downstairs rooms on the Riccarton road side of the building are cooler for summer stays."
"Spa room is larger."
"Not sure how noisey the rooms fronting the street would be as can be very busy there."
"There's not much in the way of views on offer but that's offset by the fact that there's a beautiful expansive park just across the road."
