The suite I stayed in on the second floor was, bright, airy and very roomy. This is my second stay at Merivale and I will be back. Very central spot for clients to meet up with me. Plenty of Restaurants within walking distance and a lovely Mall close by. Love it

This hotel is right on a busy street. The down side here was that there was lots of street noise. The upside was that this was the only place we stayed in New Zealand that had air conditioning, so we could close the windows and have the white noise of the AC going. We booked a standard room because it...

Stayed at Merivale manor just one night. It was a nice little place... key word 'little'. We were in a cramped room... so much so that the walkways on both sides of the bed were occluded. :( There was minimal sound proofing also... we could hear all other guests just outside our room and were woken up many times because...

Spent one night here and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We were in a spa room on the driveway, small but comfortable. The spa bath was terrific. Close to the city, bus stop outside front door, Resturant's close by. Recommend

I currently live in the UK. But I came back for my wedding in Jan 2017. I struggled to find somewhere to get ready for my big day. Before I left for the UK, I had a look at Merivale Manor and I fell in love with the characteristics of the Te Wepu suite. I knew I had to get...

We landed in Christchurch and chose Merivale Manor for its location and reviews. We were not disappointed. We were a party of 6 and stayed in the 3 bedroom apartments across the street and in the spa suites in front of the Manor. Everything was excellent. The apartments were spotless and modern with everything you might need. The Spa suites...

This place makes you feel at home immediately. Apart from the excellent accommodations the surrounding Merivale city offers a broad selection of hight quality restaurants, bars and place to enjoy your breakfast. My personal favourites; Tutto Bene; one of the best Italian food I had in a long time.

If you are coming to Christchurch you should definitely stay at Merivale Manor! It is an amazing value. Beautiful, spotless rooms and laundry is free. Bridget is the best. We stayed one night prior to our Active Adventures two week Rimu trip and one night at it's conclusion. Bridget was nice enough to keep my straw hat for the two...

We stayed 3 nights in the Te Wepu suite for a family of four. A stunning heritage property maintained and decorated to the highest standard. Spotlessly clean, with little touches e.g. fresh flowers and chocolates on the pillow. Truly a home away from home with ample room for a family of four. Friendly and helpful managers who provided touring and...

We stayed at the Farr Suite and it was a lovely room with a decent view. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They gave good advice on local restaurants and things to do. They also let us use the house laundry free of charge. This is only a few blocks away from downtown and we found it easy to walk...
