The manager had given me a $100 food voucher before I left Christchurch. I used it for this meal as our last one was disappointing. Nothing has changed our meal was average. Staff friendly but when we asked for coffee after we had eaten we could not have one as the coffee machine was turned off. This is a lovely...

The Ibis brand is reliable. Across the country they provide nice, clean and comfortable rooms. The service is always good. Prices are always reasonable. The Christchurch Ibis is consistent with the brand. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. Will stay again.

pillows were very cheap and nasty - and they'll try and charge you for anything and everything $5-10 DOLLARS added for no real reason ( people in-front of me leave just refused to paid) and they dont and won't give info on local places to get a coffee or food by just repeating that they've got their own cafe on...

Nice comfortable if rather small room well situated in centre of city. Not a luxury hotel but one which adequately suited our needs, reception staff were friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have said parking is a problem when hotel car park is full. There was a public car park two minutes away but places were scarce. The buffet breakfast...

Big comfortable bed, clean room, good shower and toilet - what more could I ask? Well one thing I'd ask for is decent lighting. Which blasted architect decided that hotel guests never read any more? The pathetic lamps they provide simply do not allow any normal sighted person to read a book or magazine in the room. The best lighting...

As others note - this is not a luxury hotel but it's position is great and the beds comfortable. But for me the deal breaker was that I left some jewellery in my room, phoned when I got to the airport and realised, and the reception staff went and looked themselves immediately and called me back to arrange couriering to...

A central location in the heart of town with cafés and bars close by. Very very limited parking outside if you are using a hire car, you may have a walk after parking. Regular taxis outside the door. Free WiFi in the lobby and bar areas but you have to pay for it in your room. Nice enough rooms stayed...

Room not really big but beds are comfortable. Good for one night stay before moving on to fox glacier. This hotel is situated along the quieter part of the town and supermarket is definitely not near. The buildings around this hotel are half collapsed so no view and very quiet streets at nights.

I stayed here for one night with my husband. The room was compact, but very comfortable to stay. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. There were cooked mushrooms and tomatos, and various cereals, fruits, and so on. The staffs were very nice and friendly. We had awesome and pleasant stay, thanks!

It's what you would expect of a Ibis hotel. Good for the money but not much more. WiFi you have to buy. Location is good, right in the Centre of Christchurch. Room was spacious and clean. Lobby offers internet computers. Don't know if they charge for this.
