Cramped into the side of a hill, this place is nothing more than cheaply built units jammed in for maximum profit and minimal comfort. The bathroom and kitchens are tiny. There are one male and female toilets for 7 three bed cabins and the campsites. Add to that draconian internet access and surly front office staff and you have the...

This holiday park is very centrally located, but the camping is still very much at peace and within nature. We stayed here for two nights and like it a lot. The showers are hot and plenty of water there is laundry and an indoor swimming pool. Plus there is a private hot pool on request. There is also a parc...

Squashed, antiquated facilities (dirty doors in ladies) tiny showers! The staff were unfriendly they never even welcomed us! Area down market ,couldn't wait to leave! A visit to the local charm school wouldn't go a miss with the staff!

Stayed at Aaron Lodge in our motorhome for 2 nights, loved it. So well maintained, clean and tidy, as are most BIG 10s we stayed in but Aaron Lodge is set up so differently from any other park we stayed in due to the topography. A tad squeezed in when full but great grassed site we had, very popular and...

Stayed here for two nights recently. Our room smelt very bad so asked if we could move rooms or book out. We were given another room. This one didn't smell but the wardrobe had two dirty towels in it. My son and I had no pillows as our pillows were disgusting and greasy like they had been on the bed...

We really enjoyed our stay at Aaron Lodge. The facilities were immaculately clean, the showers piping hot and the bathrooms had heaters. All very welcome in the winter. The kitchen looked very well equipped, we used our own in the van but I was impressed to see an oven available. Very welcoming staff and overall a great stay. Remote wifi...

Hi Billy. Thank you for your kind comments. Our buildings aren't the newest but we try to compensate with basics like cleanliness, endless hot water and heating, to compensate for the coolness outside. We love sharing this special country with our guests.

Stayed here for 3 nights in what I think was called a cosy kiwi or something similar. The unit was pretty old but it was clean and it was serviced daily. There wasn't a lot nearby and you do need a car if you are staying here. The hot water coming from the tap was extremely hot so please be...

Hi Gracie. Thank you for your review. As you have guessed, these units were built to provide base level ensuite and kitchen facilities plus TV, with two bedrooms, at a lower price than is possible for a motel. Our Kozy Kiwis sit second lowest in the range of six levels of self contained units we provide.

We were so impressed by this place. We were in a motor home and found the facilities to be absolutely immaculate. It was cold in May, so a heater was on in the bathroom, piped in music, and cleaner than clean, every detail seemed to be thought of. The woman who checked us in was friendly, very helpful, went over...

Expensive place, but the installations are quite good, sufficient and clean. The spaces are small. The grounds are situated near the centre of Dunedin CBD. Dunedin is a good base for visiting the Otago Peninsula, which has a nature reserve at its point with albatrosses, sealions and penguins.

Thank-you for taking the time to comment. Our wildlife is certainly worth visiting, as are the museums, Art Gallery and Dunedin Railway, not to mention our covered stadium.
