Reviewed yesterday NEW

I requested a quiet room away from elevators and traffic noise and a covered lock up car park for my car. Our room was next to the main street and we were kept awake most of the night by noisy boy racer cars and other heavy traffic. Staff were not interested. They did however refund our car parking in the...

We stayed here one night as part of a 2 week tour. Dunedin is a lovely city and the hotel matches this. It is very modern and spacious. We had a large, light room with 2 double beds. Extremely good nights sleep. Staff very helpful and friendly and our meal package in the restaurant was very good quality. Nice that...

Stayed here for 2 nights in January. Our room was clean and our lodging was comfortable. Reception desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory, but nothing special stood out. The hotel location was good four purposes. Only about 2 blocks from the Octagon. Good proximity to several restaurants, as well as Speight's Brewery and the Chinese Garden.

Nice hotel, good location and walking distance from CBD, restaurants and attractions. Valet parking was great and very well managed. A good base for the city, although we didn't take advantage of any of the hotel facilities, I am sure the standard is that of other hotels in the group.

At the wrong end of town, not bad end just wrong end - less restaurants, less shops, less students. But that said Dunedin is not huge anyway and everything is walking distance. The room was fine, good facilities and quality toiletries. A solid option.

I have stayed at this hotel before to visit my children at university and did so again this year. This hotel is very centrally located within 5 mins walk of the central city shops and around 15 mins to the university ( you don't want to be too close to those students) The service is wonderful including front of house...

We had room 501, which was next to the lift. which was obviously very noisy to start with. Why do hotels have rooms next to lifts? Our windows are poorly maintained which meant they didn't close properly which meant additional noise from the noisy road. The fridge was not in a cupboard which meant even more noise. There was no...

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry that you had a disturbed night. I believe our team did offer to find you a different room but I can understand that once you are settled it is sometimes difficult to move. I have asked our Maintenance team to look at the window in room 501 in order to...

The largest suite we have ever stayed in during about 2 months in NZ. Trying to book similar good quality rooms in all hotels, we went for an executive double room and were given an enormous lounge area with balconies on 2 sides, very impressed.
