I was fortunate enough to have the whole place to myself, as I was the last guest of the year. Very beautiful building, gorgeously furnished, in a stunning setting - I spent hours just looking out of the windows. Also highly recommend the wildlife trip with David McLeod - transfixing. The Otago Peninsula is stunning - so glad I went....

We stayed at Kaimata at the end of our 3 week trip. It was the perfect place to relax before going home and one of the highlights of our trip. It really is better than the website makes it out to be. Kyle and Rachel have done a fabulous job of creating a very special place and were perfect hosts....

The KiaMata Retreat was our most favorite stay in all of New Zealand, over Azur, over Kauri Cliffs.
