Tried to stay here in September for my first visit ever to DUnedin but couldn’t get in because I chose the weekend Fleetwood Mac was playing and the city was literally sold out. Came back to NZ to work for January 2020 and chose a quieter weeeknd and booked here. LIked everything about it on TA....and it held up. For me, location was great; 1.7 km from the Octagon, easy to get to by bike, half hour walk, right near the botanical gardens, a mile or so from Baldwin street and a gut busting couple of miles (which I could not do on a bike) up to Signal Hill. If you want or need to be dead center downtown this may not be your place unless you are fine walking or driving.
I got one of the mezzanine rooms; really cool, clean, and comfortable. Only “negative” was that i cannot figure out these dang heat pumps, but once i got it working it was fine. Reasonably priced, parking right outside the room, no services (no restaurant, etc) but exactly what I wanted. I would and will go back. Mao in the registration office was super helpful showing me map and where to go and what to do. Loads to do right in the neighborhood. Quiet. Top notch. Well done.

Jenny and Mao were so lovely and made check-in a breeze. The hotel is easy to locate and sits close to the state highway entry and exit out of Dunedin (North end). The uni itself is clean, modern and very relaxing. The supermarket is located nearby, and so are the Dunedin botanic gardens, while the CBD/Octagon is about a 25 min walk from the unit directly along George Street. We found the kitchen to be well stocked and had everything we needed, and it was nice to have the option to order a continental breakfast to your room. Should you be missing anything there is a wee town centre and shops just around the corner.

I loved staying here. So convenient. Would definitely stay again!

I chose this place for its close proximity to walk into Dunedin and also opposite the Botanical Gardens, with free parking.
We chose a two bedroom 2 storey unit with a King and
Queen bedroom with good kitchen, dining and lounge area and spacious bathroom.
Quality, comfortable beds, linen and towels with a good selection of toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers (you don't get these very often even in 4 star hotels - nice touch Aria). Milk was offered on arrival and very obligingly gave us a unit 3 hours prior to check in as arrived early.
I will definitely stay again and have already reccommended to friends who plan to visit Dunedin soon.

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of the rooms set further back off the road, checked in with owner who was a friendly chap.
I wasn’t expecting too much when I got to the door but the inside is considerably nicer than what the outside portrays. Very clean, kitchen was well appointed with an oven & stovetop and the bathroom looked like it had been recently refurbished. Great shower too! Free and fast internet, no complaints there. Room tended to get quite cold but there was a good heatpump downstairs as well as in the bedrooms. Overall a pleasant and surprisingly quiet stay - I only heard student noise once and that was on St Patrick’s Day!

Jenny was very welcoming on arrival. The rooms were very clean and modern with a kitchenette. We had a ground floor room but the wifi only worked outside in the carpark and not in our room. The location was excellent with a lovely cafe down the road. Turn left out of the driveway. New World was just around the corner.

We were so glad to find Aria on Bank - the people were so warm and welcoming, the room was spacious and felt like home, the situation was ideal - walking distance to basic shopping and the Gardens and an easy drive anywhere. Everything was spotless and of a high standard. We strongly recommend this motel for anyone staying in Dunedin. Great value for money.

We had seen this motel advertised on the internet but booked it when we arrived as plenty of vacancies in Dunedin now. Very friendly service from the owner and he gave us a good deal with a room upgrade. Very clean and updated interior with nice furnishings. Only a few negatives, it had lots of traffic noise and all the windows were streaming with moisture which made it quite cold in the morning. Bed was hardish but not uncomfortable. They didnt restock the coffee/tea and toiletries which would have been good as we stayed a couple of nights. Bathroom was small but the shower was awesome. We were close to a supermarket and a 20 minute walk into town which was fine. Really pleasant stay overall.

Bright, clean, private, spacious mezzanine room was ideal.
Polite, professional staff, communicative and helpful immediately if needed,
but otherwise leave you in perfect peace.
Aria on Bank is easy, reliable, predictable, pleasant and well appointed.
Ideal motel accommodation.

Excellent stay, very tidy and modern facilities. Close to yummy eateries and a supermarket. Easy drive to the center of town. Not far from Baldwin street - the steepest street in the world. Great value for money. Owners very accommodating with requests.

Answer from Aria on B

Hi, The maximum number of guests in a two bedroom apartment regardless of age is 4. We have some 2 bedroom apartments that have a King bed in 1 bedroom and and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. We also have some other 2 bedroom apartments that have a King bed in 1 bedroom and a Queen bed in the other bedroom.
