      Great place to stay

      Although the accommodation isn't central city it has 3 restaurants,conference facilities, clean rooms & extremely friendly helpful staff & within walking distance to many attractions -for example the Southland Museum & Bill Richardson's Transport World

      An enjoyable time

      Ate there over the Christmas break,along with several family members. Attentive, friendly staff. Excellent selection of food available. Didn't like the way the beef was cooked. A good piece of meat spoiled. Overall good value . Well done.More

      Breakfast is a buffet type cooked $24 and Continental $18 (toast and fruit etc) I think. The Ascot runs a courtesy coach in to town as you need it. No charge.
