We stayed for a couple of nights to attend a friends wedding. Very comfortable and the hosts, Anne and Brian, made us feel most welcome, even making our small dog feel welcome. The homemade biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch. I totally recommend the cooked breakfast too. Order the night before and it arrives at the designated time hot and... More

I was traveling in the Dunedin area in November and had the misfortune of traveling at the same time that 35000 tickets had been sold for a Fleetwood Mack concert. Needless to say, lodging was impossible to find. I scrambled to Invercargill and found these very nice accommodations, roomy and reasonably priced. If I am ever again in the Invercargill... More

Stayed here with my 3 children as it was a really good price and the room arrangement was good. Unit was clean and tidy and kitchen and bathroom were modern. Good facilities - microwave, hob, fridge, ironing board, small playground. 2 single beds in one room and queen in lounge. Staff very friendly and helpful and we were given some... More

Anne and Brian are very friendly hosts and manage one of the few pet friendly motels in Invercargill. We loved the home baked biscuits provided upon arrival. The room was adequate for our needs and for the price we were very happy to stay one night.

This is a lovely older style hotel/motel on the road into Invercargill. While it is right on the highway the units are tucked away a bit in the back of the property so you really don’t hear the traffic. It is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The unit we stayed in had a full... More

Anne and Brian make you feel very welcome upon arrival, and treat you more like a house guest rather than a travelling guest. While the units are reasonably spacious and in the style of studios, my own room felt a little cramped due to the (unrequired) addition of an extra bed. Vanity unit in the bathroom was also a little... More

Recently spent two nights here on our way to Te Anau. Brian was very kind to point out things to do in town and an alternative route to Te Anau. He also was the one who informed us of the landslide which ultimately prevented us from doing our Milford Sound Cruise. The rooms are spacious and have everything needed in... More

Not a bad stay, all that you would need. Comfy beds and great service from the owners who are very friendly. Good price too. Sky tv and freeview is convenient too. Some home baking from the kitchen too, none left though....I ate it all.

Brian and Anne Scott are convivial hosts. Brian gives lots of good advice on where to eat and what to see in Invercargill. He also says the climate of Invercargill is milder than people have been led to believe, and points to his garden as proof of this. The apartments (all single storey) are older constructions, well-built, with spacious rooms.... More

Enjoyable stay. Booked in as two families, we had 2 units connected by an adjoining door. Rooms were very clean and tidy, beds were fine, rooms were warm, and they had sky tv. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the price was reasonable and the motel was close to town and the local.
