Overall a great unit with a lovely shower. The rooms are big & having a separate lounge area is a bonus. Wifi is also great & free unlimited. The downers for us were not having our room serviced properly. Our dishes were not washed & our bed not made. For $185.00 per night we expected this. We have stayed at...

We booked an upstairs room which had great views of the cable car and perfect for our small family. Parking in Queenstown is limited and it was a short walk into town from here. The hosts were really welcoming and couldn't have any more for us. We hope we can return!

This was an ideal place to stay! My friend and I did not want to get a car. We found that we were in walking distance to the grocery store, the town for shopping, restaurants, nightlife, the lake, etc., and the bus service. Our unit faced the beautiful mountains, including the gondola that takes visitiors up to the Stratospere Restaurant....

We returned to this most friendly motel during a recent trip to NZ. In the six years since our last visit it has remained as good as ever and the welcome from Doug and Jo was just as warm. We actually stayed in the same room and this was perfect, with all amenities. This is an ideal quiet location for...

Cannot rate this place highly enough: good price, perfect location (only a short walk to town and two minutes from the bus stop), wonderful owners (Jo and Doug couldn't have been more welcoming - even lending me a coat for a rainy day!). Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone coming to Queenstown

Amity Lodge is ideally located on a quiet road but only a short walk to the centre (5 mins but uphill back) and with a bus stop for the airport at the end of the road. There is a nicer walk back through the lovely park. The owners Doug and Jo could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The...

Firstly, we thought this was a great location with only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Secondly, there is the accommodation which is wonderful. Everything was well appointed and with a kitchenette that gave us all we needed. We were in room 8 and really enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside in the sunshine with a beer...

we stayed here for 3 nites early November. Good location-only 10 minutes or so to town. Helpful owner even loaned us a umbrella for our stay. Good wifi. A real bathtub(1st and only one of trip). Liquid hand soap, good mirror to shave, plus a nice sink. Definitely stay here again.

We spent 3 days at Amity Lodge in late November 2014. The location is convenient to town, the units provided everything we required, the proprietors were extremely helpful when we asked questions about activities within Queenstown. I'd have no hesitation in returning here.

The hotel located about 10 minutes walk from the town centre but the walk back will take longer as it is up a very steep hill. It was just off the main road leading into town so it was fairly quiet at night. I had a nice view of the Skyline Gondola from my room. The rooms are large with...
