Stayed in the flaming kiwi for 2 months as a short termer and liked it so much that I'm heading back for a second stay. Staff are friendly and are willing to help you with any queries, and location wise it's convenient being 5 minutes away from town but also being in a quieter part of queenstown it's not too...

This hostel gave me everything i needed for my stay, a clean, comfy place that felt like home. The staff were so friendly and eager to help with anything you asked. I cannot recommend the Flaming Kiwi enough. The dorm room are welcoming and spacious, with lockers for valuables. They are cleaned daily, the kitchens and bathrooms twice daily. There are 6 shared bathrooms throughout the hostel, which are always spotless and relatively modern. The common room is large with lots of sofas, and there's always someone there watching a movie,...

We stayed at the flaming kiwi for 3 nights and loved it! Location was great-- 5 min walk to the gondola and 10 minutes to right downtown. The hostel is very clean, 3 kitchens, hot tub, free bikes. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. They have a big living room with TV and couches. Unlimited...

stayed at the flaming kiwi several times,always treated like a freind rather than a guest! flaming kiwi is flaming awesome flaming fantastic...ha ha ha.dont wait for hell to freeze over if your looking for a flaming good place to stay.i will return kent thats not a promise....thats a threat...ha ha ha. thanks again....pal!!
