Stale smell to the unit. Bathroom could do with a good clean. Same with kitchen. Beds the worst we have had in NZ. Not worth the price considering other hotels we have stayed in. Heating is over the top in the lounge area and freezing in the bedrooms. Very disappointing really, would never stay again

Still no wi-fi. Obviously privately owned and not well maintained - grubby bathroom and tricky toilet flush, very grubby carpet, no service re replacement of towels/tea/milk etc. Obviously not checked by management before letting out as we were later asked if we had made a hole in the wall (we are pensioners!) Fortunately we had photographed the hole when we...

Excellent views. 30 mins walk into town. No WiFi. Service was quite poor. Reception is unmanned most of the time. No bedroom heaters and very low supplies such as tea and coffee. No milk supplied. Entry way is very hard to get out of.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lovely view and peacefulness of our apartment and its setting. The facilities in general were very good, although the bathroom (shower and toilet particularly) was in urgent need of an upgrade and spring clean which was disappointing.
