This was in a good spot. Supermarket 200 metres away. Not in the town but only 350 metres to middle. Easy walking to all places. Owners great and helpful self contained and get the morning sun when we were there. Provided umbrellas for a wet...More
We stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. The rooms are excellent and it had everything a family of 4 could want. Very handy to town, so walking with our 10 & 12 year olds was fine even at night time. Because...More
Stayed three nights at $200 per night. Short walk to town flat. Views of gondola, mountains in distance and paragliders. Bit noisy on deck as road below, quiet at night. One gripe they don't replenish or service room other than clear rubbish. You have to...More
Good location, just a few minutes walk into town, but still quiet. Unit set up beautifully with everything we needed. Reception really helpful and friendly, travelled all over South Island and this was the best set up apartment we had.

Hello there. We were there in NZ spring so I wasn't paying much attention to the heating. I think there was an electric heater in the bedroom, I know there was one in the living room because I turned it off. The bathroom has a heated floor and big heated towel rail which is great for drying outdoors clothing.
The room we stayed in had one double bed, so it may be they have different room types available. You could drop them an email about the beds. I contacted them a few times before we got the NZ to ask about parking and other travel stuff - they were always quick and helpful at replying.
