Very confortable and clean backpacker accomodation in Te Anau. Bob and Maxine are very pleasant hosts and the place has all the amenities you need and a quite fantastic views on the surrounding mountains. The only downside is that the shutting door's sound could be annoying when the other guests are not carfeful.

I stayed at the hostel for 6 nights totally. It's hard to explain how much this place has a warm and happy athmosphire. The rooms are comftrable, Bob and Maxime are friendly and helped me with my tracks, the hostel is clean and offers a lot of free spices and fruits. Don't miss it!

This is a phenomenal place to stay. So much is included with the price!! Free, unlimited wi fi, free bike hire, free laundry, free tea and coffee, and every day Maxine buys fresh fruit to put out on the table in the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious, with herbs and cooking oil included, and there is a big cozy fireplace...

We most enjoyed eating breakfast and evening wine in the common room in the building where the dorm type rooms are located. Met a range of people of a range of ages from China, Germany, Holland, and Israel. All great people enjoying the National...
