Needed accommodation for our family of 5 for a Friday wedding and this place was perfect. Diane sent an email before we arrived to advise room number and location of key. We had the 2 bedroom cottage, it was super clean. Lovely crisp linen and soft towels. Although we didn't use the kitchen facilities there was a well appointed kitchen...

We have just arrived and were pleasantly surprised. A very cute room! Everything is clean and new. Country charm at its best! Service was great. Got a text message the night before to advise what our room number was and where we could find the keys. Lovely place. Would definitely come again.

We only wanted a one night stay in the Hunter Valley and we needed accommodation for 2 couples. We needed to be close to the vineyards in Pokolbin and Rothbury and not spend a fortune . Windarra Lodge met our needs perfectly. The 2 bedroom cottage was modern, clean ,quiet, had gorgeous views and a complimentary bottle of wine on...

We were really pleased with the lodge and super happy with comp bottle of wine. We also thought how cool that they spotted our drinks at pop up restaurant. Trouble is the vouchers require a purchase of food. But we already ate so it was super awkward as we had already ate! I wished that it was made clear to...

This was a great, reasonably priced little spot for our accommodation while attending Bryan Adams at A Day On The Green, Bimbadgen. We had 4 rooms booked and everyone was happy with their lodgings. We also only had to book one night which was a bonus as most places in the Hunter force you to book two nights when big...

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Clean, comfortable and well presented. Scenic view from doorway of room over paddocks. Complimentary bottle of wine was lovely surprise. Could imagine staying a weekend away here quite easily!

This lodge is a very practical no frills place to stay. There is no reception, no one there, they ask you to call to find out which is your room and where they have left the key. The rooms are very well laid out and equipped and clean. The beds are excellent . The only real draw back personally, was...

We only had one night to enjoy the hunter and windarra lodge was a great option. Our kids had a ball roaming around the surrounds and we enjoyed a nice Aziza Shiraz overlooking the valley. Definitely return.

We were visiting the area for the Neil Diamond concert. As many would know, most of the accommodation outlets in the Hunter have a minimum 2 night stay at the time of major concerts. We only required a 1 night stay and through booking.com we were able to book Windarra Lodge with the option of cancelling up until the day...
