My partner and I stayed in the Shiraz room which was beautifully appointed and comfortable. There were other special niceties such as port and chocolates in our room, along with coffee making facilities. The en-suite had top quality gels and lotions and lovely hot shower.The...More
We stumbled upon the Cooperage looking for an overnight stay on a trip North.Unusually for this B&B, there was a one night stay available on a booking site.

We stayed in the Champagne room, it was amazingly done, great hospitality. Gay gave us lots of information about vineyards and restaurants to eat. They cooked the best home cooked breakfasts. All in all I totally recommend you to try this place .
Had a great day up at the Hunter Valley celebrating our friends engagement party. Lots of great people, laughs, stories of times past with plenty more great memories to come. Stayed at Cooperage B+B...5 stars, what an absolutely amazing place which I now can highly...More

Hi, we also stayed in the Chardonnay room and in terms of size i'd probably describe it as average, definitely not small. However, you have acces via a double sliding glass door to a beautiful big verandah which has a stunning view over the vineyards and down to the lake - just delightful. You also have access to a huge common area which has those same views and theres also a theatre room for guest to use. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfasts (homemade by Gay) are second to none - just delicious! If your husband loves B&B's and vineyards, as my husband does, then look no further than The Cooperage.
